Rama Duwaji is a Syrian illustrator and designer with a BFA in Communication Arts, based between Dubai and Washington, DC.
Her work explores social issues such as beauty standards, misogyny and the roles they play in the lives of women of color and their mental health. She explores these topics through black and white portraiture and symbolism. Her art takes on different forms such as portraiture, editorial illustration, children's book illustrations and graphic novels.
